Podcast Summary:

In this episode, we talk with Chris Suchanek, CEO and Founder of Firm Media. We dive into the life and philosophy of a man who has achieved incredible things across multiple domains. From marketing and philanthropy to personal adventures, Chris’s story is about more than just success—it’s about pursuing greatness and living authentically.

Chris’s story is rich with experiences, one of which includes being part of a Grammy-winning team. While he didn’t win the award personally, his involvement marked a pivotal moment in his life. “Once somebody touches greatness, it changes them forever,” Chris reflects. This experience of working with high-performing teams in the music industry became a cornerstone of how he views life and business. It taught him that true greatness has a lasting, transformative effect, something he strives for in all aspects of his life.

1. SEO Is not a Marketing Strategy.

Chris’s belief in the power of diverse marketing strategies challenges the conventional wisdom that digital marketing is enough. His article, SEO Alone is Not a Marketing Strategy, emphasizes that combining regional brand recognition with modern digital tools creates synergy. For example, while plastic surgeons focused solely on web marketing, oral surgeons maintained strong regional branding alongside their digital efforts, leading to better overall results. Suchánek advocates for a balanced approach that includes traditional and modern marketing tactics, such as using geo-fencing and targeted advertising through products like Omni Blend.

2. Aesthetic Industry Lifestyle Magazine.

Chris is launching AILM, a unique digital lifestyle magazine tailored for the aesthetic industry. Focusing on authenticity over ego, AILM highlights transformative stories from patients and professionals, creating a space where real-life experiences take center stage. The magazine is designed to celebrate life-changing journeys within the aesthetic field, offering readers an inspiring look at the impact these procedures have on individuals’ lives. With its engaging storytelling and interactive format, AILM aims to redefine how the industry connects with its audience, prioritizing the human side of patient stories.

3. Stories of Creating a Culture of Charity.

One of Chris’s most fulfilling endeavors is Project Boon, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit he founded. The organization produces holiday-based events that distribute groceries and provide volunteer opportunities in Southern California. Each event serves 300–400 families, distributing 16,000 meals and offering services like flu shots and dental exams. “We’re not just giving people food; we’re giving them an experience,” Chris explains.
The nonprofit’s focus on uplifting volunteers as much as recipients embodies the spirit of what Chris calls a “love hug,” creating a community-focused environment that goes beyond charity. With 350,000 meals and 50,000 volunteer hours provided over the years, Project Boon is a true reflection of Chris’s dedication to making a difference.

4. Partnership with Candace Crowe Design; How We Use BRAG book To Save Labor, Improve SEO and Have Kick Ass Galleries for Our Clients.

As a marketer and business leader, Chris remains committed to innovation. His recent partnership with BRAG Book, a before-and-after photo gallery tool, showcases his forward-thinking approach to creating seamless, integrated marketing solutions. His willingness to collaborate and learn from others has become a key part of his success.

Conclusion

Chris’s journey is one of continuous growth, fueled by a relentless pursuit of authenticity and greatness. Whether through his marketing agency, nonprofit work, or personal adventures, Chris is committed to leaving a lasting impact. His story inspires others to embrace their authentic selves, pursue greatness in every endeavor, and do the hard things that lead to transformation.
