Karen has a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kansas. She is a board member of the Grand Park Orchestral Association, the Guild of the Chicago History Museum, and a governing member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Karen is also a grand patron of the Chicago Historical Museum’s Costume Council.
